Used Cryogenic Processing Equipment

The Cryogenic Institute of New England, Inc. offers used cryogenic treatment equipment as it becomes available. Normally, we have access to a few used cryogenic processing machines at any time. Cryogenic metal treatment reduces residual stresses and increases the wear resistance of ferrous steels. Cryogenic treatment also optimizes dimensional stability through the conversion of retained austenite to martensite. Metals become tougher allowing for a more durable metal after undergoing cryogenic treatment.
