The Cryogenic Institute of New England, Inc. utilizes dry ice blasting technology to clean a mansion made of limestone in Greenwich, CT. The limestone surfaces had been stained by calcium deposits through chemical reactions with the atmosphere. These deposits had significant variation across the wall that was cleaned. Dry ice blasting removed some deposits very easily, while others took several passes to remove.
