Cryogenic Deflashing and Deburring Machines

Nitrofreeze provides cryogenic deflashing machines to manufacturers and molders that want to implement this technology on their production floor. We offer four different sizes of cryogenic deflashing and deburring machines. These include a 1.0 cubic foot tabletop model (without media and flash separator), and three standalone units complete with flash and media separator with 1.2, 1.6 and 3.0 cubic foot parts baskets.

Models are available in stainless steel construction or blue painted steel. Each machine utilizes a hardened media blasting impeller cable of spraying media at 20,000 RPM. The machines are PLC controlled and capable of saving process parameters by part number. In addition, each system contains thick insulation to minimize liquid nitrogen consumption and includes a dry air system to assist with media flow. If required, barcode readers and automated door assemblies are available on selected models.

Our cryogenic deflashing and deburring machines remove flash and burrs from parts made of plastics, silicones, urethanes and rubber. New machines are made to order, however, refurbished machines are intermittently available. Please reach out to learn about current inventory of machines.
